Unbeaten run and goal average at stake in Seville this weekend

A win against Sevilla would be a big boost for Valencia CF's hopes of Champions League qualification

Valencia CF return from the international break looking to extend a 15-game unbeaten run in all competitions, and they have an important fixture to start off the final stretch of the season.

The streak is the joint-best for the club under Marcelino, after he led the side to similar success at the start of the 2017/18 campaign.

The team travel to Andalusia this Sunday to take on Sevilla, rivals for the Champions League spots as LaLiga reaches a vital stage of the season. Only FC Barcelona and Getafe CF have been able to win at the Sánchez Pizjuán in the league this term, but VCF players have made clear this week that they are targeting the 3 points.

A victory would mean that Valencia CF would have the advantage on goal average over their opponents, with whom they drew 1-1 in the first half of the season.
